JD-8DWW-3

Type 4.112 8-day movement with brass bushings.  Jerome adopted the use of brass bushings for his movements as an improvement probably during the early 1830s.  The bushings around the winding arbors are obvious, but all gears in the time and strike trains use brass bushings as well.  This movement also uses gears from a 30-hr movement, with blocks put in as spacers to allow for the shorter 30-hr arbors.
