Jeromes, Gilbert, Grant & Co “Flat Front”

Although this appears to be a bevel-front clock, it actually has a flat front.  It’s a relatively uncommon variant of the OG and bevel-front style.  The tablet is an example of a William Fenn.

A detail of the border showing images that I believe to be Jesus and Mary.  For more examples of religious imagery in clock labels, visit the research interests page.
