Jeromes & Darrow Carved Column & Splat

JD-1

Upper glass and mirror not original.  The corner blocks holding the carved splat are drilled to receive finials (possibly pineapple finials).  This style of fully carved column & splat clock often had feet (for example, carved paw feet), but this one does not show any signs of once having feet.  This clock is mentioned in NAWCC Bull. Supplement 19 (Spring 1993), Figs 12 and 13.
