This ogee dates to 1843 and has the original upper glass. This represents the latest use of the reverse-painted spandrels that I’ve seen. The mirror has either been re-puttied to secure it or it is an appropriate replacement. I believe the type 1.311 movement is one of the earliest of its type from Bristol, suggesting that the movement was introduced around 1843.
